The LaVida Signature Facial is a therapeutic skin treatment tailored to the needs of each guest, treating you like the individual you are. This custom facial addresses concerns such as skin congestion, lack of radiance, skin sensitivity, fine lines and wrinkles, and loss of firmness.
Procedure
Our LaVida Signature Facial begins with a guest evaluation so the Esthetician understands the guest’s needs, expectations, and skin type, and can determine the custom products and services that will be most beneficial. During this consultation, guests can make special requests or ask any questions about the process so the Esthetician can clarify and accommodate any specific needs.
The facial includes the following steps: cleanse, exfoliate, extract, treatment/masque, and moisturize. Throughout the service, the Esthetician also performs light facial massage, along with a neck and shoulder massage, while the treatment works to revive your skin. This is an excellent service for all skin types and an ideal start to a personalized monthly skincare regimen to maintain healthy skin.
Cleansing
The first step in the LaVida Signature Facial is cleansing, which removes everyday pollutants and oils that your skin comes in contact with. The Esthetician may perform multiple layers of cleansing while stimulating the skin through light facial massage.
Exfoliation
Once the face, neck, and décolleté area are cleansed, the Esthetician will exfoliate the skin, removing dead skin cells to allow the following treatments to penetrate more effectively.
Extraction
Following exfoliation, the skin is primed for extraction. The Esthetician will use a sanitized tool or their fingers to gently remove any buildup in the pores.
Treatment/Masque
Depending on your skin type and concerns, a treatment or masque will be selected to help you reach your skincare goals. For example, if dry skin is a concern, the Esthetician may recommend a highly moisturizing masque. This process is accompanied by steam, which promotes the opening of pores. While the treatment or masque absorbs into the skin, a neck and shoulder massage is performed for ultimate relaxation.
Moisturize
The final step of the LaVida Signature Facial is moisturizing the skin. After cleansing and treating, it is important to protect the pores from further pollutants. Depending on the time of day, the Esthetician may apply a moisturizer with SPF to help protect the skin from the sun’s harmful rays.
Aftercare
The Esthetician will make recommendations for an at-home regimen to continue the progress achieved during the facial. Maintaining a healthy skincare routine at home is essential to extending the benefits of regular facials.
